Understanding Disability Culture and Pride

Understanding Disability Culture and Pride is a keynote talk given by Gaelynn Lea at the Northwest Augmentative Communication Society summit. Lea is an American folk singer, violinist, public speaker and disability advocate from Duluth, Minnesota. Gaelynn has a congenital disability called Osteogenesis Imperfecta, or Brittle Bones Disease. In recent years, she has used her music as a platform to advocate for people with disabilities and to promote positive social change.
