The Sharpening Skills webinar held on September 25, 2024, was designed to help volunteer advocates strengthen their skills in supporting individuals with diverse needs, including those experiencing poverty and disparities due to race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation and gender. We also explored strategies to promote equity and discussed how to recognize and address personal biases in advocacy work.
