Working Effectively with Culturally Diverse Families

Working Effectively with Culturally Diverse Families of Children with Behavioral Health Challenges, presented by the Pacer Center

Culture is embodied in the ordinary things we do- how we speak, greet each other, organize a meeting or provide a service. When important belief systems are breached, we run the risk of offending the family and may set up barriers to positive outcomes. This presentation given by a unique panel of diverse parents who are also advocates and experts in cultural diversity, will share strategies they have found to be effective for building collaboration with diverse families. Webinar created by the Pacer Center.
