Permanency Values

Every child deserves to grow up in a safe, loving and permanent home, especially a child, who through no fault of his or her own enters foster care. The options available to children in care may look different from what we have in our own families. CPS has provided a packet of resources that will assist CASA volunteers in working towards permanency for children in foster care. The materials explore permanency values and how partners in the child protection system can work with – and for – children and youth in care to build life-long, supportive relationships that give them a sense of family and belonging.

The materials will be featured in the Permanency Values Training.

Resources were provided by CPS.
