Supported Decision-Making: New Alternative to Guardianship

The webinar, “Supported Decision-Making: New Alternative to Guardianship,” was hosted by Richard LaVallo, Legal Director of Disability Rights Texas.

The webinar is intended to train CASA volunteers on the new law enacted by the 84th Legislature authorizing supported decision-making agreements for adults with disabilities, as it may be an appropriate option for foster youth who age out of foster care and do not qualify for a guardian.
